Stand Up for what's Right and Just (SURJ)

Fellow Kiwanian and former Governor of the State of Delaware, Honorable Russell W Peterson is the creator and Honorary Chair of a new visionary program, Stand Up for What's Right and Just (SURJ). This is a collaborative grassroots statewide effort to reform Delaware's criminal justice system and attack the causes of crime. Barbara Ward of Delaware Division of Public Health is recruiting Kiwanis
Members to participate in Healthy Delaware 2010. This would be a great
opportunity to become involved in community health planning. Contact Barbara
at 995-8689, or check out www.healthydelaware.com Save Safeway's cash register tapes to support Claymont Fire Company. Elaine
will collection for any one who brings them to meetings.

Ronald McDonald House needs volunteers to assist with the Comfort Area of
Special Care Nursery at Christiana Hospital. 2-hour shifts/free training;
